Decades after the original film, Practical Magic 2 follows sisters Sally (Sandra Bullock) and Gillian Owens (Nicole Kidman) as middle-aged women. Twice-widowed Sally has tried to protect her daughters, Kylie (Joey King) and Antonia (Maisie Williams), from the centuries-old family curse—which dooms any man an Owens woman loves to an untimely death—by hiding their magical heritage and making them forget about witchcraft.
